Here’s What you’ll Need Candidates must possess a current TS/SCI security clearance Current Network+, Security+, Cloud+, SSCP, CASP+, CISSP, CCNP Security Comptia Security + or equivalent in order to be considered. Position requires candidate meets 8570 requirements. Responsibilities & Duties include, but are not limited to: Plan, design, and implement voice, data, and network communication systems. This role focuses on translating business and technical requirements into scalable, reliable, and secure telecommunication solutions across enterprises, government, or carrier networks Responsible for daily Operations & Maintenance (O&M), direct touch maintenance, and provisioning, while simultaneously analyzing the IT architecture to develop long-range strategic plans. • Create and maintain key engineering work products—including IT roadmaps, engineering configurations, rack elevations, and bills of materials Ensure all solutions for data center and telecommunications systems networks adhere to Department of Defense (DoD) and commercial best practices. Design and document telecommunications systems • Develop detailed network diagrams, schematics, and design specifications Perform capacity planning, bandwidth analysis, and system sizing Collaborate with project managers, network engineers, and stakeholders to meet project requirements Support RF and wired network design for optimal coverage and performance Conduct feasibility studies, site surveys, and technology assessments Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and security policies Assist with implementation, testing, and integration of telecom systems Provide technical support during project deployment and post-installation optimization Work Location One location Job Type: Full-time Benefits 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Parental leave Retirement plan Vision insurance License/Certification CCNP (Required) T3: BICSI RCDD, T4: RCDD; senior design specialization (BICSI advanced / equivalent) (Required) T3: CCNA; CTS-D (if AV/comm integration); manufacturer design certs, T4: Enterprise telecom architecture training; Security+ (if designing for secure facilities) (Preferred) Security clearance Top Secret (Required) Education/Experience Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
