As a Telemedicine Post Acute Physician, you'll work alongside trusted colleagues to deliver exceptional care and help shape outcomes that matter for patients and their families. Local Team Collaboration: We are a close-knit team of 50 physicians. We welcome the challenge of complex patients who are in post-acute care environments like nursing homes and need increased physician engagement, a cross-coverage model via telemedicine, and availability after hours on evenings, nights, and 24/7 on weekends and holidays. Our providers are located across the country and can work from home while serving a much-needed population in post-acute facilities like nursing homes to prevent unnecessary ER visits and unnecessary hospitalizations. Qualifications: MD or DO, board-certified in IM or FM with 3 years of hospitalist experience. Additional experience in post-acute/SNF is also welcome. Prior experience in Telemedicine strongly preferred. Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills with a desire to learn. Minimum Compact/IMLCC and 3+ licenses. Preferences given to candidates who have a high number of state licenses and the Compact. Required licensure in several of the following states: CA, CT, FL, MA, MD, NJ, NY, NV, PA, NC, SC, VA. Scheduling: This is a full-time opportunity (120 hours/month). Shifts are evening, overnight, and weekend hours. 35% of your monthly scheduled hours will be overnight, 11 pm-11 am.
