Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Temp Hygienist to join our vibrant dental team! Duties Perform dental prophylaxis, scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments with precision and care Conduct thorough patient assessments including vital signs and medical history review Assist with pediatric dentistry procedures, ensuring comfort and safety for young patients Utilize dental software Dentrix to document treatment notes accurately Maintain strict infection control protocols using aseptic techniques and proper sterilization methods Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care to promote long-term health Review medical records and documentation to ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and accurate medical coding Monitor patient comfort throughout appointments, providing compassionate care tailored to individual needs Experience Proven experience as a dental hygienist in a fast-paced dental office or clinic environment Familiarity Dentrix is highly preferred Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and medical terminology Experience working with pediatric patients and performing pediatric dentistry procedures is a plus Knowledge of HIPAA regulations related to patient privacy and medical records management Excellent communication skills to educate patients effectively and collaborate seamlessly with the dental team Join us in delivering exceptional dental care while advancing your professional skills in a supportive, energetic environment!
