Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Temporary Caregiver to join our team in providing exceptional support and care to individuals in various care settings. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of residents, patients, and clients by delivering personalized assistance with daily activities, health monitoring, and emotional support. Duties Assist residents or patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration to track health status Support medication administration following HIPAA guidelines and care plans established by healthcare professionals Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal consumption when necessary Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light cleaning duties and adhering to infection control protocols Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident’s ; for safe transfers and mobility assistance Observe and report changes in residents’ or patients’ conditions, including symptoms related to dementia, Alzheimer’s, autism, or other developmental disabilities Document care activities accurately in compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies Provide emotional support through engaging conversation, companionship, and activity facilitation to promote mental well-being Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and follow personalized care plans Experience Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or group homes is highly preferred Demonstrated knowledge of patient observation techniques and vital signs monitoring Hands-on experience with medication administration and care planning processes Familiarity with dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, memory care, hospice care, or working with individuals with disabilities is advantageous Experience performing patient monitoring tasks such as vital signs assessment or working with specialized equipment like Hoyer lifts Knowledge of HIPAA regulations ensuring confidentiality of patient information Previous roles involving social work or home & community care provide valuable insight into holistic caregiving approaches Ability to handle heavy lifting safely while assisting residents or patients during transfers or mobility activities Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with healthcare teams and family members Join us as a Temporary Caregiver if you're motivated by making a positive impact through compassionate caregiving.
