Full job description Job Summary Mobile and Manual Meter Reading Principal Duties and Responsibilities Accurately read gas and electric meters; read and reset demand indicating hands; read and correct time on off-peak meters.Demonstrated ability to read and interpret maps.Accurately Record meter readings.Converse with customers when necessary, and refer complaints, requests, or inquiries to department supervisor.Report irregularities and abnormal conditions.Record special hazards.Report gas leaks to service department immediately.Operate Company Vehicle Keep assigned equipment work areas in a clean and orderly condition.Perform duties in accordance with the Company's safety rules and operating regulations and practices.Required Qualifications for Position Valid driver's license and Clean Driving record.Basic computer skills High School Diploma, or the equivalent.We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate against applicants due to race, ethnicity, gender, veteran status, or on the basis of disability or any other federal, state or local protected class.If you're energetic, detail-oriented, and eager to develop your expertise in field operations--apply today!
