About this role Job Summary Responsible for assisting the Technical Production Supervisor with the organization, supervision and stage managing of theatre events. Maintains and operates all theatre equipment, provides for the security and safety of the people in the facility, and troubleshoots and performs minor repairs of standard theatrical lighting and sound equipment. Duties and Responsibilities: Analyze technical problems with multimedia systems and equipment, and perform minor repairs. Replace defective or obsolete theatrical equipment and/or fixtures. Set up and operate sound equipment such as public address systems and may install background music system as required. Operate stage lighting equipment for play production in auditorium; rig lighting equipment by use of ladder as required. Coordinate the activities of one or more staff.
