Marketing for Change is hosting an art installation in Columbia, MD, as part of a larger campaign for one of our clients.We are looking to hire someone to help us set up, maintain, and uninstall the art installation.Specifically, we are looking for people who are handy with tools and good at building and / or fixing things.The campaign is focused on pushing for policy change to build more homes that people of all incomes can afford, expanding renters' rights, and changing unfair policies that especially impact residents of color.The installation will be set up at The Mall in Columbia on Friday, February 27th, and will live at the mall until Sunday, March 29, 2026.We are looking for someone who can (1) Be a thought partner.We'd love to hop on a call and discuss our current installation idea and see what you think of the mechanics we have proposed to install the art.If there is a better way to construct the installation, we would love to know! (2) Help us install the structure on Friday, February 27th.We'd appreciate it if you can bring tools and we can reimburse you for any items we end up using (like nails, screws, etc.).(3) Check in on the installation every few days and provide any necessary repairs.(4) Help us uninstall the art on Sunday, March 29th.Job Type:Temporary Pay:$25.00 - $40.00 per hour Work Location:In person.
