Job Summary: We are seeking a candidate who works efficiently without sacrificing accuracy. The Full Charge Bookkeeper/Small Business Accountant can expect to work with large amounts of numerical data, handle multiple tasks with deadlines, and provide transparent and complete reports to management. You should have a firm grasp of accounting and financial practices and regulations.To ensure success, the candidate should be prompt, honest, detail-oriented, professional, and analytical. Top candidates will have the ability to successfully communicate complex quantitative data to decision makers. Activities & Responsibilities: Transactions Record and reconcile daily restaurant sales and audit the daily sales reports for inaccuracies. Bookkeeping along with the revenue of a restaurant comes all the expenses including payroll and costs. Complete cash accounting, and invoice processing for the all locations. Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and sales tax filings Maintain and process accounts payable and accounts receivable. Ensure that required debt payments are made on a timely basis Maintain the chart of accounts Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written) Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple clients and deadlines work experience closing the books monthly and generating month-end financials Reporting Prepare income statements, balance sheets, and P&L reports, accounting reports weekly and monthly to managers.
