Company Description COPE Psychological Center is dedicated to providing holistic and personalized mental health care using evidence-based psychological interventions. Our team specializes in therapies including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and trauma-focused treatments such as Cognitive Processing Therapy and Prolonged Exposure for PTSD. Role Description We are seeking a part or full-time Therapist to join our compassionate team at COPE Psychological Center. This hybrid role is based in Los Angeles, CA, with a balance of in-office and remote work opportunities. The Therapist will provide individual, couples, and group therapy using evidence-based practices, conduct clinical assessments, and develop treatment plans tailored to clients’ needs. Responsibilities include maintaining detailed documentation, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and participating in ongoing professional development to deliver the highest standard of care. Qualifications Master’s or Doctorate degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field, with appropriate licensure or licensure eligibility in the state of California. Proficiency in evidence-based psychotherapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Strong skills in conducting clinical assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing psychotherapy to diverse populations. Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team and with clients from various backgrounds. Demonstrated organizational skills for maintaining client records and adhering to ethical and legal guidelines. Experience or interest in trauma-focused therapies such as Prolonged Exposure or Cognitive Processing Therapy for PTSD is desirable. Experience incorporating a developmental approach to therapy and working with individuals dealing with life transitions, addiction, or relational challenges is a plus.
