Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Therapist to join our dynamic mental health and behavioral services team. In this vital role, you will provide expert counseling, assessment, and therapeutic interventions to individuals across diverse age groups and backgrounds. Your expertise will help clients navigate mental health challenges, develop coping strategies, and achieve personal growth. Duties Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify mental health needs, including diagnostic evaluations and intake procedures Develop personalized treatment plans utilizing various therapeutic modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, DBT, psychodynamic and motivational interviewing Provide individual, couples, family and group counseling sessions focused on mental health issues including depression, anxiety, trauma, transition, relationship and interpersonal issues, etc. Implement crisis intervention strategies to support clients during urgent situations while ensuring safety and stability Collect and maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations; document progress notes, treatment plans, and treatment plan reviews. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care for clients with complex needs such as autism spectrum disorder or other disabilities Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in behavioral health, social work, and related fields Experience Proven experience working in outpatient behavioral health environments Demonstrated expertise in adult, adolescent & family counseling, or working with groups Familiarity with data collection methods for tracking patient progress and treatment outcomes Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance standards Experience conducting patient assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and case management activities Skilled in applying evidence-based therapies such as applied cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), DBT, MI, and crisis management techniques Prior work with diverse populations including children, families, individuals, groups Join us to empower individuals on their journey toward mental wellness!
