Job Type Full-time Description POSITION SUMMARY Responsible for providing counseling and other clinical services to children, adults, couples, and families. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Provides individual, group, and family therapy in an office or community setting, utilizing evidence-based practices and a variety of therapeutic approaches. Completes bio-psycho-social assessment and develops treatment goals with the client and parent/guardian as appropriate. Provide crisis intervention services as needed. Participates in clinical case staffing as needed. Schedules clinical case staffing to ensure consistent communication with other professional staff involved with the client. Collaborates with external agencies and with families to coordinate services on behalf of the individuals served. Maintains case records and notes in a timely and professional manner. Submits counseling reports as defined in the policy. Assures proper billing for self-pay and insured clients. Complies with all Insurance, Medicaid Rule 132, and Managed Care Organization requirements based on client's insurance type. Participate in Utilization Review of clinical files. Completes other duties as assigned. Requirements QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills. Must possess the knowledge, personal qualities, and practice skills to work effectively with professionals in other organizations and from other disciplines and to provide services in a manner that reflects understanding and appreciation of multiculturalism.
