Status: Full-Time 40 hours a week Reports To: Executive Director About Raleigh Dream Center Raleigh Dream Center (RDC) is a Christian nonprofit that exists to bring hope and restoration through the message of the Gospel for the people in our community. Since 2014, we have been committed to meeting people at their point of need through outreach and residential programs that address food insecurity, homelessness, addiction recovery, and more. Principal Objective The Thrift Store Manager is responsible for conducting the daily operation of the RDC Thrift Store; communicating and interacting with customers, volunteers, and donors; encouraging, supporting and challenging staff and volunteers; facilitating a safe and healthy work and shopping environment for customers, volunteers and staff; and generating funds to support Raleigh Dream Center programs. The Thrift Store Manager must have a thorough understanding of and genuine belief in the mission and vision of the Raleigh Dream Center, using them as a guide in all decisions and interactions. Specific Responsibilities Manage all details and tasks to launch a thrift store in Q3 2026. Oversees the day-to-day operations of the thrift store, including on-time opening and closing. Supervises any paid staff in accordance with RDC's policies and applicable laws. Interviewing, Hiring, Training staff/Volunteers (trains employees on all RDC policies and procedures) Planning, assigning and directing work.
