Job Title:To-go Associate & Customer Service Extraordinaire About Smoky Buns:Smoky Buns is a Craft BBQ food truck right here in Round Rock, Texas! We're passionate about serving up authentic, high-quality BBQ with a side of Texas hospitality.We pride ourselves on our flavorful meats, friendly service, and creating a memorable experience for every customer.As we expand, we're looking for an enthusiastic and committed team member to join our team and help us continue to deliver BBQ perfection.Position Summary:We're seeking a skilled and personable individual to join our team as a part-time BBQ to-go Associate.This role is crucial to ensuring our customers receive Texas hospitality, while also providing exceptional customer service.You will be responsible for efficiently portioning various sides to order, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and interacting with customers in a friendly and professional manner.This position requires a minimum availability of Thursdays to start.Responsibilities:Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly, taking orders accurately, answering questions about our menu, and offering recommendations.Ensure accurate order fulfillment and handle cash and card transactions efficiently and accurately.Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area, including the slicing station and surrounding areas, adhering to all food safety regulations.Properly handle and store all meat products to maintain freshness and quality.Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed (e.g., preparing sides, assembling plates).Communicate effectively with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient service.Adhere to all company policies and procedures.Qualifications:Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, positive, and patient demeanor.Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to handle basic math for order taking and transactions.Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.Must be reliable and punctual.Must be available to work a minimum of Fridays and Saturdays starting at 11am.Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25lbs if needed.Valid Texas Food Handler Certificate (or ability to obtain one quickly).To Apply:If you have passion for BBQ or providing outstanding customer service, we'd love to hear from you!
