Are fun, engaging, patient and flexible Have a silly side and a good laugh Are calm, cool, collected What you have:Minimum of 1-year center experience DHS Qualification of Assistant Teacher or Aide Flexibility to work hours based on the needs of the school and program Successful background check and MN licensing requirements Must be comfortable standing for long periods of time (up to 8 hours a day) Must be comfortable sitting on the floor Must be able to lift 50 pounds Must be reliable, organized, and punctual Able to fluently understand, read and speak English What you will do:Actively supervise as they learn, play, eat and sleep Keep your classroom organized and clean Observe the children's interests; work with other team members to develop creative ideas for an engaging curriculum Support the Lead Teacher in daily activities and classroom management Communicate with parents daily, sharing their children's latest adventures and achievements through a variety of avenues, including mobile app.At Compass Child Care, you bring the passion and we'll give you the tools and training to be successful.Let's talk about building a brighter future together where you'll be part of a fun, amazing team of educators!
