Benefits Please note that the pay scale/benefits are negotiable and determined by qualifications and experience. $200 joining Bonus (DOE) Comfortable child-to-teacher ratios Sick leave 50% childcare tuition discount Professional development/Education support Consistent schedule Paid holidays/Federal holidays Responsibilities: Implement Developmentally appropriate lesson plans in collaboration with the educational team Sincerely love children and help them develop social competencies Provide individualized attention and support to toddlers in various educational activities Manage classroom activities, transitions, and routines effectively Ensure the safety and well-being of all children under care Engage in family partnership and meaningful conversations. Plan and organize creative art projects and physical activities for children Willingness to lead enrichment activities as needed. Support mealtime food distribution, monitoring, and clean-up Willingness to learn Childcare Management App and update it as a team. Requirements: Minimum Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. At least 18 years old and have teaching experience in early education setting. Maintain all dcyf standards 30 Hours Child Care Basics certificate (must be obtained within 30 days after being hired) Food handlers permit & First Aid & CPR and Blood Borne Pathogens TB test MMR (proof of immunity) First aid and CPR (current) Portable background check (through MERIT) Lift up to 40 pounds Be able to squat, kneel, sit on floor, see, hear, speak with children to ensure children's health and safety Meet Discovery Village Academy’s policies and requirements Please note that the pay scale is determined by qualifications and experience.
