This role focuses on helping toddlers build communication skills, independence, and confidence through structured routines and engaging classroom experiences. This position is ideal for educators who enjoy working with younger learners in a nurturing and consistent early childhood setting. Key Responsibilities Lead daily routines for children ages 12-24 months Support early language development and social interaction through guided activities Assist with transitions including meals, diapering, and rest time Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment Encourage independence through structured learning centers and routines Communicate regularly with families about classroom activities and progress Collaborate with teaching team members and center leadership Follow Virginia licensing and safety requirements Qualifications High school diploma required Prior childcare experience required Experience working with toddlers preferred Patient, dependable, and team-oriented Must meet Virginia childcare licensing requirements </
