Job Title Tool and Die Maker Job Post Summary The Tool and Die Maker is responsible for building, maintaining, and repairing a variety of progressive, compound, and secondary dies to support manufacturing operations. This role involves troubleshooting tooling issues, managing multiple tasks, and ensuring production efficiency while maintaining quality standards. The position works closely with internal teams to meet production deadlines and uphold operational excellence in a fast paced environment. Job Roles And Responsibilities Build, troubleshoot, and develop new tooling based on design requirements Modify existing tooling according to customer specifications and changes Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot tooling to support continuous production Perform tooling changeovers for multiple parts and production runs Manage and prioritize multiple tooling jobs within deadlines Support different departments with tooling-related requirements Communicate job progress and issues with the department manager Follow instructions from job travelers and standard procedures Ensure accurate time tracking for assigned work Identify and report tooling or press issues to the supervisor Report actual or potential quality issues to quality or supervisory teams Stop production when nonconforming conditions are identified Follow quality standards and operational procedures Contribute to team objectives and overall productivity Lift materials and tools as required within physical limits Qualifications And Certifications High School Diploma or equivalent Tool and Manufacturing Association certification or equivalent preferred Minimum 5 years of experience in tool and die making Experience in a manufacturing environment Strong knowledge of tool room equipment and safe operation Ability to follow standardized procedures and quality requirements Basic written and verbal communication skills in English Bilingual skills are a plus Experience with SolidWorks CAD is an advantage Experience with CNC and Wire EDM is an advantage Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong time management and multitasking skills Dependable and punctual Benefits Stable full time work with consistent hours Overtime opportunities based on business needs Opportunity to work with advanced tooling and manufacturing technologies Collaborative team environment Skill development and hands-on technical experience
