Overview Ranor, Inc is a large-scale fabrication and machining supplier. Our current focus is on defense related products in support of Navy submarine components. We are seeking a reliable, organized Tool Crib Attendant to support our machining operations. This role keeps production moving by ensuring tooling and supplies are accurate, available, and controlled. This is a 1st shift position (6:00a-2:30p) with some overtime available. Duties include: Issue, track, and maintain cutting tools, inserts, and shop supplies Keep tool crib organized, labeled, and stocked Monitor tool usage and reorder as needed Support machinists with tool availability and selection Maintain inventory records and tool life tracking Work with programming, setup, and purchasing teams Assist with tool presetting and basic assembly as needed Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision 401K/Roth Plan Paid Vacation and holidays Safety Boot Reimbursement Program Safety Glasses Reimbursement Program Life/AD&D Insurance Qualifications Required: Experience in a machine shop or manufacturing environment preferred Familiarity with cutting tools, inserts, and CNC machining a plus Strong organization and attention to detail Basic computer skills (inventory systems, spreadsheets) Dependable and self-motivated Good communication with machinists and supervisors Must be a U.S. Citizen (required for defense-related work) Physical Qualifications: Light Lifting, Medium Lifting, Reaching, Stooping, Twisting
