Tool Room Attendant A local company in Pensacola, Florida is looking for a Tool Room Attendant to join their team.The ideal candidate would be responsible for the maintenance of tooling, including issuance and receipt of various tools and supplies, while maintaining appropriate record keeping.Job Responsibilities:Perform a wide variety of routine clerical tasks:Perform data entry of all related tooling.Process tooling transactions:Issue tooling directly to aircraft job numbers or department accounts.Transfer tooling to various designated tooling areas throughout facility.Return tooling to inventory.Stock and inventory all tooling daily.Control customer furnished tooling.Adhere to safe maintenance practices and maintaining a clean work area.Maintain quality control of respirators.Conduct tooling repair, including lubrication of tooling.Preparation of special tooling containers (i.e.boxes) Build tooling racks and shelving units when tasked.Able to identify basic hand tools.Perform any work that may be assigned by his/her supervisor.Qualifications:HS diploma or GED required 1 year experience preferred within a fast-paced warehouse environment Good knowledge of office procedures and equipment, including copiers, fax machines, and computers, ability to prepare routine reports and maintain specialized files and records.Tool room personnel typically work in a fast-paced environment with equipment ranging from hand tools to heavy equipment.Personnel may be assigned to one of several tool rooms and might work with little immediate supervision.A high level of interpersonal skills at the window and on the floor of the tool room is required to maintain an effective relationship with management and co-workers.Requires easy mobility around storage facilities and the dexterity to remove and replace tooling parts in upper and lower storage bins.Working environment requires standing 90% of the workday on hard surfaces.Must be able to lift 50lbs.and report to work regularly.Must be able to work in environments containing dust and paint.Compensation and Benefits:For this position, you will be paid $15/hour Must be able to work odd shift times and weekends Contract position By applying for this job, you agree to receive calls, AI-generated calls, text messages, or emails from Landrum and its affiliates and contracted partners.Frequency varies for text messages.Message and data rates may apply.Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.You can reply STOP to cancel and HELP for help.You can access our privacy policy at https://www.landruminc.com/privacy-policy.Landrum Workforce Solutions does not discriminate based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, pregnancy, genetic information or any other characteristic protected by law.It is our intention that all qualified applicants are given equal opportunity and that employment decisions be based on job-related factors.Join us at ST-ENG and be a part of the team!.
