About the Job Reporting directly to the Tool Room Supervisor, the Tool Room Clerk role is a high-visibility, high-impact role within the Maintenance Department at TFI USA.This is your opportunity to lead, influence, and innovate.You'll partner with leaders across the plant, and bring new ideas to life.If you're energized by continuous improvement, the ability to make a difference, and working for an employer of choice - then this with role is for you ! Duties & Responsibilities Coordinate production workflow for one or multiple products Organize and maintain spare parts inventory Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay Determine manpower, equipment and materials needed to cover work scheduled Schedule shift according to production needs Monitor jobs to ensure they will finish on time and within budget Address issues when they arise aiming for minimum disruption Obtain output information (number of finished products, percentage of defectives etc.) Prepare and submit status and performance reports Keep paperwork organized Assist with other projects and tasks as requested by management within scope and abilities Place orders when inventory for parts are running low, and communicate with colleague/supervisor to ensure orders are placed.Requirements/Education/Experience/Skills Ability to Read and write English Basic computer skills (able to work in Microsoft Office), able to learn new systems Comfortability purchasing inventory items as needed and working in vendor catalogs/websites Detail oriented Ability to follow SOP's and operate with a safety first mindset Ability to work with minimal direction English/Spanish Bilingual preferred Why Join Thomas Foods?
