Job OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Torch Cutter to join our manufacturing team.In this vital role, you will operate torch cutting equipment to precisely cut and shape metal sheets and components according to detailed blueprints and specifications.Your expertise will ensure high-quality fabrication, efficient production processes, and adherence to safety standards.This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about manufacturing, fabrication, and precision machining to contribute to complex projects and develop their technical skills in a dynamic environment.Duties Operate various torch cutting machinery oxy-fuel torches, and other thermal cutting tools to produce accurate cuts on sheet metal and structural components.Read and interpret detailed blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files to determine cutting paths, dimensions, and specifications.Perform quality inspections using micrometers, calipers, precision measuring instruments, and visual checks to ensure parts meet strict tolerances and specifications.Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to all safety protocols related to welding, machining, and handling sheet metal.Collaborate with fabrication teams on assembly processes, tooling adjustments, and troubleshooting machine issues to maximize efficiency.Skills Skilled in using hand tools for fabrication tasks including assembly and tooling adjustments.Knowledge of safety standards related to welding, machining operations, crane operation, and material handling.Basic math skills necessary for measurements, calculations related to machining tolerances, and blueprint interpretation.Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality inspection processes throughout the manufacturing cycle.Join our team as a Torch Cutter if you're eager to craft high-quality metal components with precision while advancing your skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment!
