Salary : $53,019.20 - $63,606.40 Annually Location : Bernalillo, NM Job Type: Classified Full Time Job Number: 2026-00028 Division: County Business Development Department: County Business Development Opening Date: 04/08/2026 Closing Date: Continuous General Purpose Under general supervision, provides financial oversight, planning, placement and monitoring of the County's branding, tourism and marketing strategies as they relate to the County's Tourism and Event Center, and as required by the NM True Brand Campaign; facilitates an active relationship with hotels/restaurants and attractions for Sandoval County; directs and coordinates event, staffing and advance planning of the site; develops policies and procedures, facility management guidelines, and formation and implementation of various marketing plans for consideration. Work involves marketing Sandoval County to stimulate economic development and promote tourism and supporting these efforts by securing and administering grant funding. Meets quarterly with the County Lodgers Tax Board and Tourism Alliance Committees and reports directly to the Director of Economic Development to achieve the goals and objectives set forth for the County. Minimum Qualifications Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Marketing, Economic Development, Business Administration, or related field and four years' experience in managing/coordinating events in a convention and/or conference center environment; and developing marketing and branding concepts OR an equival
