Tow Truck Driver

Location: Santa Clarita, CA Schedule: Full-time (12 hour shifts with overtime) Pay: $17/hour + commissions About Us We are a locally owned towing and roadside assistance company serving Santa Clarita and surrounding areas. We focus on professionalism, safety, and great customer service. Our work includes light-duty towing and roadside services such as jump starts, lockouts, fuel delivery, tire changes, and basic vehicle assistance. Job Responsibilities Safely operate a flatbed tow truck and/or light-duty tow truck Respond to dispatched calls in a timely and professional manner Provide roadside services including jump starts, lockouts, tire changes, fuel delivery, and vehicle towing Interact professionally with customers, AAA representatives, and dispatch Accurately complete digital paperwork, photos, and job details Perform basic vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness of the truck Follow all safety procedures, traffic laws, and company policies Deescalate customers when distraught regarding their cars Requirements Valid California driver’s license (clean driving record preferred) Ability to pass background check and drug screening Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in various conditions * Basic smartphone proficiency (apps, photos, GPS) Previous towing or roadside assistance experience preferred but not required (we will train the right person) Preferred Qualifications Tow truck or roadside assistance experience AAA experience Mechanical aptitude or automotive knowledge Flexible availability (including weekends) What We Offer Competitive pay with commission opportunities Paid training Well-maintained trucks and equipment Supportive, respectful work environment Opportunity for growth and long-term stability Work Location: In person Pay: From $17.00 per hour Benefits On-the-job training Work Location: In person
