In this energetic role, you will operate specialized tow trucks to safely recover, transport, and assist vehicles in various situations. Duties Operate flatbed, tow trucks, and other specialized equipment to recover and transport vehicles efficiently and safely Conduct automotive diagnostics and mechanical assessments to determine the best recovery or repair approach Load, unload, and secure vehicles using appropriate tools such as forklifts or winches, ensuring safe handling at all times Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients, explaining procedures, and addressing concerns professionally Manage conflict situations calmly and effectively when dealing with distressed or frustrated customers Perform basic automotive repairs or diagnostics if needed to facilitate vehicle recovery or minor fixes on-site Maintain accurate logs of all recoveries, loads, unloads, and vehicle details for reporting purposes Qualifications Proven experience with automotive diagnostics, mechanical knowledge, or automotive repair is highly desirable Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is a plus Skilled in operating tow trucks, flatbeds, forklifts, and other heavy-duty equipment safely and efficiently Familiarity with manual transmissions and automotive systems such as brakes, engines, and electrical components Strong customer service skills with the ability to manage conflict professionally under pressure Mechanical or mechanic experience that supports troubleshooting vehicle issues during recovery operations Ability to load & unload vehicles accurately while adhering to safety protocols Excellent driving skills with experience operating tow trucks or similar commercial vehicles Embark on a rewarding career where your technical expertise meets your passion for helping others!
