Track Line Operator

Department: Production Position: Non-Exempt Salary: Hourly Summary Description: Running Parts for Track Assembly. Essential Duties: Obtain work orders and production schedule and choose raw materials accordingly Perform quality assurance inspection to assure raw materials meet established standard Inspect track for accuracy Apply product and identification labels Adjust tooling to specific setting for multiple types of product and perform tool changes as needed. Load and unload coil using the crane. Down stacking finished parts into bundles for proper storage. Other job duties as assigned Essential Job Skills and Experience: Education/experience: Any combination of education providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would be qualifying. Typical qualifications would be: High School Diploma or GED preferred Production experience preferred Skills/Knowledge Required: Must be able to read a tape measure accurately Ability to work independently and with a team Ability to lift up to 50 lbs without assistance and more than 50 lbs using a team-lift Ability to stand for extended periods of time Good hand-eye coordination Skill in using power and/or hand tools Ability to read and interpret work orders Physical Environment/Working Conditions: This position involves standing, walking and lifting for long periods of time throughout the day. It requires grasping and fine finger manipulation on both hands. The position requires stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling. It requires grasping and fine manipulation on both hands.
