Trade Floor Production Engineer

Location: Lower Merion, PA Description: Our client is currently seeking a Trade Floor Production Engineer We are seeking a highly motivated Production Engineer to join one of our automated trading desks . In this role, you'll collaborate closely with trading strategy and infrastructure teams to deploy and support cutting-edge technologies and strategies in a fast-paced, high-performance environment. What You'll Do Develop and maintain monitoring scripts for production systems and dependencies (Python, Bash, Shell) Partner with Platform Engineering to support server imaging, testing, and deployment workflows Serve as a technical liaison between trading desks and cross-functional teams (network, security, market data, platform) Monitor and support a highly distributed, automated trading system Provide multi-level support to traders, quantitative researchers, and strategists Contribute to the development and maintenance of Linux-based build tools Gain hands-on experience with market microstructure , system risk, and trading infrastructure Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science , Engineering, or related field Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, Shell) Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Willingness to work on-site 5 days per week Preferred Qualifications Strong quantitative and analytical skills Familiarity with financial instruments and markets Experience supporting production systems in trading or real-time environments About Us We specialize in trading across all listed financial products and asset classes, with a focus on derivatives .
