Our client, a highly regarded intellectual property practice within a well established midsized firm, is seeking a Trademark Litigation Associate with between three and six years of experience. This role is best suited for an associate coming out of a busy trademark litigation practice who is looking for more direct responsibility, closer partner access, and a clearer path forward. The associate will collaborate with experienced partners and team on an active docket of trademark, trade dress, and IP enforcement matters. The associate will be involved in all phases of litigation, including research and drafting, discovery, motion practice, enforcement initiatives, and trial preparation. The practice is active and consistently busy, with matters in federal and state courts as well as multi jurisdictional enforcement and brand protection work. Associates are given meaningful responsibility and regular client exposure, not just task based assignments. The ideal candidate will have strong writing skills and direct experience in trademark litigation, with hands on experience working effectively with partners on active matters. The ability to take initiative and demonstrate ownership over matters from beginning to end is highly valued. Experience with trade dress, anti-counterfeiting, or broader IP litigation will be viewed favorably, as will exposure to patent related disputes or licensing. USPTO licensure is a plus.
