Job Description
Traffic Control Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and executing traffic control and safety operations for assigned projects.This can include setting up, monitoring, and maintaining lane closures on state highways and other roadways, redirecting traffic for workers and crews, and ensuring that all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations, The supervisor leads traffic control crews, ensures job site safety, mentors and trains team members, and manages project documentation.This role also involves transporting equipment and safety products to and from job sites.Essential Functions:1.Operate vehicles to transport materials and equipment to and from job sites 2.Lead daily traffic control crews with demonstrated leadership and advanced knowledge of traffic control 3.Ensure strict compliance with safety protocols, PPE requirements, and company policies.4.Mentor and train new hires in proper traffic control and safety procedures 5.Ensure all timesheets, work tickets and job documentation are completed accurately and submitted daily.6.Inspect work zones to ensure pro per placement of traffic control devices and overall site safety 7.Maintain accurate inventory of traffic control devices and materials and assist in maintenance of devices and materials 8.Travel to various job sites as required.Occassional overnight stays may be required.9.Perform other work-related duties as assigned to support operational goals Qualifications:1.Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience 2.Valid driver's license with clean motor vehicle record 3.High School diploma or GED 4.Must successfully complete Traffic Control Supervisor advanced training course.5.Willingness to travel to assigned region as project demands, requires.6.Evening and weekend availabilty required Skills and Knowledge 1.Strong knowledge of traffic safety regulations 2.Ability to read and interpret road signs, work orders and safety guidelines 3.Proficient in completing paperwork and documentation accurately.4.Mechanical aptitude for equipment maintenance and minor repairs Physical Requirements:1.Ability to life and move up to 60 lbs 2.Ability to work in varying weather conditions and environments 3.Must pass pre- employment drug screen Pay:$700.00 - $900.00 per week Work Location:In person.
