About the Role (Job Summary) As a Training Coordinator within a high-volume distribution and pharmacy operations environment, you will play a critical role in onboarding, developing, and upskilling warehouse and pharmacy team members. This position serves as a subject matter expert (SME) and hands-on facilitator—ensuring employees are trained consistently, safely, and in compliance with operational, quality, and regulatory standards. You will partner closely with site leadership, quality, and operations teams to deliver engaging training programs, support cross‑training initiatives, and drive continuous improvement across the site. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys teaching, coaching, and influencing performance in a fast-paced operations setting. Location: Memphis, TN Schedule: Tuesday–Friday (11:00 AM–7:00 PM) & Saturday (8:00 AM–6:30 PM) Schedule flexibility and overtime may be required based on business needs. What You’ll Do (Responsibilities) Training & Onboarding Facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding for warehouse and pharmacy operations employees Lead on-the-job training (OJT) and ensure accurate, timely documentation of completed training Serve as a go-to training resource and subject matter expert for operational processes Content Management & Quality Consistency Develop, update, and maintain training materials, SOPs, job aids, and visual learning tools Partner with leadership and quality teams to adjust training content based on process changes, audits, or performance trends Ensure training delivery aligns with site quality, safety, and compliance standards Coaching, Assessment & Feedback Observe employees in process to assess adherence to SOPs and best practices Review productivity and quality reports to provide actionable coaching and feedback Identify skill gaps and recommend retraining or continuous improvement opportunities Operational & Team Support Support daily operations during periods when training activity is reduced Collaborate with team leads, supervisors, pharmacists, and cross‑functional partners to reinforce best practices Serve as backup team leadership as needed Culture, Safety & Engagement Promote a safe, inclusive, and engaged work environment Model company values and behaviors in all interactions Participate in site meetings, audits, committees, and continuous improvement initiatives Reinforce safety standards and compliance requirements across all work areas Basic Requirements Typically requires 6+ years of related experience Active State of Tennessee Pharmacy Technician License 1–5 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician or equivalent operational experience Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and make sound, day-to-day decisions Preferred Skills & Experience Prior experience delivering training or onboarding in a warehouse, distribution, or pharmacy environment Experience creating or updating SOPs, job aids, or training documentation Coaching or mentoring experience in a production or operations setting Strong facilitation, presentation, and interpersonal skills Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Work Environment, Travel & Physical Requirements Ability to work across all warehouse areas, including refrigerated or cold environments Ability to walk up to 10 miles per shift Ability to lift 20–40 lbs. repetitively (team lift for heavier items) Frequent standing, walking, bending, and stooping No routine travel required We are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson as part of our Total Rewards.
