Role Description This is a full-time remote position for a Transcriptionist. The Transcriptionist will be responsible for accurately transcribing audio and video recordings, ensuring appropriate formatting, grammar, and punctuation, and maintaining confidentiality of all content. Key tasks include verifying time-coding, adhering to deadlines, and collaborating with team members to meet client needs. Attention to detail and the ability to comprehend diverse industries and accents will be critical to success in this role. Qualifications Strong typing speed and accuracy, with proficiency in transcription tools and software. Excellent listening skills to decipher audio files with various accents and recording qualities. Proficiency in grammar, spelling, punctuation, and editing for accurate transcription. Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize tasks in a remote work environment. Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to maintaining client confidentiality. Familiarity with technical or industry-specific terms in fields such as healthcare, education, or technology is highly advantageous. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in communications, linguistics, or a related field preferred.
