Transmission Sales & Customer Support Specialist High Performance Automotive Industry | Twisted Torque™ | Transmission Depot™ Full-Time | In-Office Position Love Cars, Trucks, Performance Builds & Talking Shop With Customers? Twisted Torque is growing fast, and we are looking for the right person to join our team. We are NOT a dealership. We are NOT a generic parts store. We build real OEM and performance automatic transmissions for customers nationwide. From classic muscle cars and diesel trucks to LS swaps, towing rigs, off-road builds, and high-horsepower street vehicles, our team helps customers choose the RIGHT transmission for their setup. Schedule & Training Initial training schedule will be: Monday–Friday 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Once fully trained, this position will transition into extended customer support hours: Monday–Friday 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM Our evening coverage allows us to better support customers nationwide, respond to after-hours automotive inquiries, and maintain a competitive edge in the performance transmission industry. Reliability, flexibility, and strong communication are important for this role. What You’ll Be Doing Answer inbound sales calls Respond to website chats, Facebook messages, and customer emails Help customers identify the correct transmission and converter setup Gather vehicle/application information accurately Build quotes and follow up on leads Process orders and update customer notes Coordinate with sales staff and builders Learn product applications, transmission terminology, and performance upgrades Perform outbound follow-up calls during slower periods Maintain organized records and customer communication Deliver excellent customer service before and after the sale What We’re Looking ForPreferred Experience: Automotive knowledge REQUIRED Transmission knowledge is a HUGE plus Experience in automotive sales, service writing, parts sales, or repair industry preferred Familiar with Ford, Chevy, Dodge, GMC, and Jeep platforms Comfortable discussing towing, horsepower goals, converters, and vehicle setups Strong communication and customer service skills Good typing and computer skills Experience with Excel, email, CRM systems, or data entry Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and note taking Compensation ✔ Base Pay + Commission ✔ Monthly Performance Bonuses ✔ Automotive Industry Training ✔ Long-Term Growth Opportunity ✔ Performance-Based Advancement Compensation based on experience and automotive knowledge.
