We are currently hiring a Per Diem Transport Aide to support resident transportation and care needs. Pay $18.00 per hour Per Diem Position Responsibilities Safely transport residents to and from appointments, therapy sessions, and activities within and outside the facility Assist residents with mobility, transfers, and positioning as needed Provide support and supervision during off-site appointments Assist residents with entering and exiting vehicles and ensure proper use of seatbelts and mobility devices Communicate resident needs and appointment details with nursing staff Observe and report changes in residents’ physical or emotional condition to nursing staff Provide comfort, companionship, and emotional support to residents Requirements PCA Certification (Patient Care Assistant) required Previous experience in a nursing home, assisted living, or healthcare setting preferred Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs with assistance Physical Requirements This is an active role that may include standing, walking, lifting, and assisting residents throughout the shift. Schedule may include weekends, holidays, and varied shifts as needed.
