Job Description
Company Description Concord Counseling Associates is a small, specialized trauma therapy practice in Concord, MA, founded by Dr. Rey Junco. We provide compassionate, evidence-based psychotherapy for high-achieving adults navigating complex trauma, narcissistic abuse, relational wounds, and health anxiety. Our work is grounded in psychodynamic and relational therapy, thoughtfully integrated with approaches such as Internal Family Systems (IFS), Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), and EMDR. We serve a discerning clientele — including executives, artists, and athletes — who expect a high standard of care and a clinician who genuinely understands the pressures of high-performance environments. We are a small, dynamic team that takes our work seriously and supports one another in doing it well. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Concord, MA, for a Trauma Therapist. You will provide specialized trauma-focused therapy to individual adults, conduct thorough assessments and evaluations, develop tailored treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based interventions. A significant part of this role involves working closely with Dr. Junco to learn and apply the trauma therapy techniques and frameworks he has developed over his 25+ year career, including ART, EMDR, IFS, and psychodynamic approaches. You will participate in regular case consultations, maintain accurate clinical documentation, and stay current with emerging trauma-focused research and treatment methodologies. This is an opportunity to grow quickly under the mentorship of an experienced clinician in a practice that values depth, rigor, and genuine therapeutic impact. Qualifications 1–4 years of post-graduate clinical experience; we are looking for someone early in their career who is ready to grow, not someone right out of graduate school Strong foundational clinical skills in trauma-informed individual therapy Genuine confidence in your clinical abilities — you know you're good at what you do, and you bring that self-assurance into the room with clients Comfort and ease working with high-achieving, high-net-worth professionals, including executives, entrepreneurs, artists, and athletes Openness and enthusiasm for learning specialized trauma modalities, including ART, EMDR, and IFS, under direct mentorship Experience with or training in evidence-based trauma approaches (EMDR, CBT, psychodynamic therapy, or similar) preferred Master's degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related mental health field Licensed or license-eligible in Massachusetts (LMHC, LICSW, LMFT, or equivalent) Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to build trust with sophisticated, often private clients Commitment to cultural competence and affirming care, including LGBTQIA+, disability, and neurodivergent populations A collaborative spirit and genuine desire to be part of a small, engaged, high-performing team Compensation We offer a generous salary and benefits package commensurate with experience. We are committed to supporting the professional development and well-being of our team members.
