Job Description: - Position: Physical Therapist (PT) - Specialty: Acute Care Hospital - Shift: Day Shift, 5x8 Hours (08:00 - 17:30) - Experience Required: Minimum of 1 year in acute care - Travel Experience: Not Required (some acute care experience acceptable) Qualifications: - Certifications: - TX PT license (pending accepted) - BLS (preferred) Key Skills: - Proficient in Adaptive Devices, AROM/AAROM/PROM - Expertise in Assessment, including Pain Assessment and Vital Sign Monitoring - Experience with Orthopedic Conditions: - Ankle Sprains - Cervicalgia - Total Hip/Knee Replacements - Skilled in Cardiopulmonary Care (COPD, CHF, etc.) - Familiarity with Rehabilitation in Geriatrics, Neurology, and Oncology - Knowledgeable in Modalities (e.g., Cryotherapy) - Documentation and Discharge Proficient - Capable of Managing Individualized Programs and Home Exercise Plans Work Environment: - Join a dynamic team in a trauma level 3 hospital - Collaborate with 8-10 other PTs and 6-8 PTAs daily - Engage with OT and ST teams, as well as case management personnel - Treat a diverse patient population, including Adults and Geriatrics - Manage a daily patient load of 10-12 with a productivity standard of 80% Additional Information: - Orientation Hours: 24 - Work in a 450 bed hospital with a census of approximately 360 - Treat patients across 7 floors, addressing orthopedic, neuro, oncology, and basic med-surg cases as well as ICU settings Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol): At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
