Job Summary Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Speech Language Pathologist to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards. Responsibilities Provide individualized assessments and treatment plans for patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes in an acute care setting. Utilize Cerner charting systems to document patient progress and care plans. Educate patients and families on strategies to improve communication and swallowing function. Adhere to facility cancellation policies and adjust in accordance with assignment requirements. Comply with all applicable regulations, including maintaining active BLS certification and state licensure. Qualifications Active BLS certification and California state license required. Minimum of two years of experience in an acute care facility preferred. Familiarity with Cerner charting systems. COVID vaccine required for certification compliance. Ability to work every other weekend as part of the schedule. Flexibility to adapt to a Level 2 trauma care setting.
