Details Hospital-based Cardiac Cath Lab setting Monday through Friday schedule, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (8-hour shifts) 40 hours per week On-call required for 2 weekends and 15 shifts over the course of the contract Cath lab procedures include emergency and elective angioplasty, drug-eluting stents, electrophysiology, and pacemaker implantation 13-week contract Requirements Active FL or compact RN license required (no pending licenses accepted) Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS — AHA-issued certifications only CPI certification required for this position Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience in a US hospital required Level 1 trauma experience required Recent acute care experience required Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program required BSN highly desired US Social Security Number required Two manager or supervisor references preferred, verifying experience within the previous 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer Date of birth required for consideration Additional Information Performs a variety of patient care functions in accordance with current licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements to meet the needs of patients, families, and the community Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted First-time travelers are not mentioned as eligible; 2+ years of specialty experience is required American Traveler Job ID #P-705987.
