A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity: RN - Cardiac Tele Job Details Work night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM on a 32-bed telemetry unit Choose between 36 or 48 guaranteed hours per week (13-week assignment) Work every other weekend as required by facility No call requirements Patient ratios vary from 1:6 to 1:8 during night shifts (estimates) Float as needed to similar or lower acuity units Required: Current RN License (Missouri eligible or licensed), BLS and ACLS from AHA only Must have 1 year of cardiac telemetry experience (inpatient only) Experience required with CHF, chest pain, renal, hemodialysis patients, Amiodarone and Cardizem drips, central lines (HD catheters, ports, PICCs) Care for patients with arrhythmias, respiratory issues, sepsis, surgical cases, and withdrawal protocols Work with equipment including lift equipment, bladder scanner, interpreter iPad, BIPAP monitoring Use EPIC electronic medical record system Dress code: Black scrub tops and pants with Mercy cross logo on left chest Fast-paced, high acuity cardiac telemetry unit with monitor technicians Night shift orientation occurs during day shift hours Must be available entire week for orientation Facility This healthcare facility has been serving the South St. Louis County area for more than 140 years, providing compassionate medical and specialty care.
