Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PACU - Post Anesthesia Care Discipline: RN Start Date: 06/08/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - Cardiovascular Surgery Job Details: Variable shift schedule 36 guaranteed hours per week 13-week assignment length On-call requirements mandatory Previous OR experience required with experience in general, gynecologic, orthopedic, spine, robotic, and vascular procedures Day surgery experience required with 2+ years of nursing experience Must prepare patients for surgery Experience with age-specific care for adults (18-65 years), adolescents (13-17 years), and geriatric patients (>65 years) Required certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS Active Texas RN license required (temporary licenses not accepted) Experience required in medical/surgical services, cardiovascular services, oncology, orthopedics, neuroscience, and bariatric care Meditech documentation system experience preferred Must maintain professional appearance with facility-provided scrubs No artificial nails permitted; tattoos should be covered when possible Float to other units as needed Facility: This full-service acute care hospital is licensed for 186 beds and has been serving the community since 1976. The facility operates as a Level III Trauma Center and features the county's only pediatric emergency room along with a state-designated Level III NICU.
