Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Cath Lab Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 06/08/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Allied Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available Opportunity: Radiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab Tech Job Details: Work 10-hour day shifts in Cath Lab/IR department Handle 8-12 case caseload per shift Weekend call required - 1 full weekend per month On-call responsibilities approximately 7-10 days per month STEMI Call team must respond within 30 minutes of activation with 2-hour call back guarantee Must have strong cath lab experience and ability to work in IR (required) Perform elective caths (diagnostic and interventions), RHC, STEMI, IABP and pacemaker procedures Work with angioplasty, cardiac stent placement, insertion/programming of AICDs, pacemaker insertion Maintain sterile field and scrub responsibilities Care for adult and geriatric patient populations 3 years of experience required Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT + MD License, or RCIS Use Cerner and McKesson charting systems Scrubs provided by facility Strict no-tobacco policy with nicotine testing May float within hospital or to affiliate hospital nearby Neuro intervention experience preferred Facility: This acute care hospital is a Level II Trauma center with 360 total staffed beds. The facility provides comprehensive cardiac and interventional services with modern equipment and technology.
