Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: Rotating - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: First Assist - Certified Surgical First Assist Location (On-site, Remote, or Hybrid?): Oconomowoc, WI (onsite) Contract Duration: 13 weeks Work Hours: 6:30AM - 5PM Total Weekly Hours: 40 Certified Surgical First Assist Days ** CSFA (AST or NBSTSA certified will be prioritized. ABSA will be redirected) Contract Length: 13 weeks Orientation Date: 5/11 or 5/26 Guaranteed Hours Per Week: 40 Shift Requirements: 10 hr Days- 0630-1700; Ability to flex to end at 1900 Float Requirements: Waukesha Memorial and Mukwonago; Like units as needed. Weekend/Holiday: As needed - Call is every 4th weekend and about 1/wk overnight. On Call/Call Back Requirements: Call is every 4th weekend and about 1/wk overnight. Required Certifications to be Attached upon Submittal: BLS, CSFA (AST or NBSTSA certified will be prioritized. Not ABSA) Minimum Experience: First Assist experience. Have worked in a full-fledged operating room with all service lines for 2-3 years, comfortable with emergency situations Charting Experience Required: NA Travel strongly encouraged Unit Specific Skillset: ortho, laparoscopic cases Unit Overview: Collaborative partnership (proficient and efficient in their care, cognizant with the conversations, positive environment)75 bed hospital Strong work ethic, Positive Attitude, Hard worker, Resilient and Manages Change well, Social candidates Scrub Colors: Hospital Provided (Blue) Covid-19 Vaccine Required unless Medical or Religious Exemption applies GSA hours are not guaranteed the week of Orientation. Traveler is guaranteed set hours per week, except during holidays where unit is closed Float: Employee should not be asked to work outside of his/her Clinical skills unless approved by employee, unit manager, shift advisor, and Staffency. Candidate will be required to float to units and facilities based on census.
