Quick Job Summary Job Title Registered Nurse (Med/Surg) / Travel Nurse Location Concord Township, Ohio (44077) — Ohio nursing jobs, Greater Cleveland area Assignment 13-week travel contract Unit Surgical Telemetry / Med-Surg (post-op ortho, spine, women's health) Shift 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), 36 hours/week; every other weekend & holiday required Start / End Dates June 15, 2026 – September 13, 2026 Estimated Weekly Pay $1,800 – $1,890 Job Requirements / Qualifications Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio (compact license holders should verify state eligibility) Minimum 1 year recent clinical Med/Surg experience; travel nurse or surgical telemetry experience preferred BLS certification (American Heart Association) Ability to provide required health & immunization records (MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Tdap, TB/PPD, COVID-19 vaccine, Influenza) Successful completion of facility skills checklist and competency exams as required Clear background check, drug screen, and fingerprinting as part of onboarding Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care to post-operative orthopedic, spine, and women's health patients on a surgical telemetry/med-surg unit Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions, vital signs, telemetry, and responses to treatment Administer medications, IV therapies, and ordered treatments safely and accurately Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, therapists, and interdisciplinary teams to create and implement individualized care plans Provide patient and family education focused on post-op recovery, discharge planning, and ongoing self-care Participate in shift handoffs, nursing rounds, quality improvement, and infection control initiatives Maintain a safe, clean clinical environment and adhere to hospital policies and nursing standards Why Join This Travel Nurse Opportunity This travel nurse assignment is ideal for Med/Surg RNs seeking experience in surgical telemetry, post-op care, and interdisciplinary clinical collaboration.
