CT Tech Location: Smyrna, GA Agency: Jackson HealthPros Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position Become a vital part of a Smyrna, GA hospital as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will interpret physician scanning instructions, administer contrast media, and operate CT scanning equipment to produce diagnostic images. You will provide safe, age-appropriate patient care and support department operations while adhering to regulatory and facility standards. Minimum Requirements: Required certifications and licensure: ARRT Radiography (ARRT-R) and ARRT Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT) required upon hire. Cardiac/CPR certification: BLS (American Heart Association or equivalent) required upon hire. Education: Completion of a JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technology program or equivalent accredited radiography program. Experience: Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology required. Experience in CT is preferred but less than 1 year CT experience may be acceptable per client preference. Demonstrated competency in CT procedures, patient positioning, radiation dose optimization, power injector operation, venipuncture, PACS/RIS workflow, and routine CT workstation functions. Ability to follow physician instructions, perform pre- and post-procedural care, and respond to emergency situations including basic crash cart and life support procedures. Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact professionally with patients, families, physicians, and multidisciplinary teams. Must be dependable, flexible with work hours to meet department needs, and able to work independently while contributing to a team environment. Preferred: prior experience in a hospital setting and familiarity with Joint Commission standards and teleradiography workflows.
