CT Tech Location: Wrangell, AK Agency: Cynet Health Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: Rotating - 5 days x 8 hours Start Date: 6/1/2026 About the Position Job Title: CT Technologist Profession: Diagnostic Imaging Specialty: CT Technologist Duration: Full Time Shift: Varies Hours per Shift: Guaranteed hours not specified Experience: Minimum years of experience not specified License: Current ARRT in Radiography required Certifications: Clinical competency required within three months of hire and every three years Must-Have: - Ability to perform all diagnostic exams related to assigned modality - Competency in ancillary modalities - Willingness to learn other imaging modalities as needed Description: The Radiologic Technologist must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served. The individual must possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s status and interpret the information needed to identify each patient’s needs. Essential functions include providing radiographic examinations of all body parts for diagnostic interpretation and exercising professional judgment in the performance of procedures. The Technologist must perform diagnostic medical radiography within the department and maintain patient records and files. Responsibilities also include quality assurance, pursuing continuing education, transferring patients to and from radiology, and assuming departmental responsibility in the absence of a supervisor. Flexibility to rotate shifts as required is necessary. The Technologist must adhere to policies and procedures, assist in the general hygiene of the department, and perform additional duties as assigned. Competence in various imaging modalities such as XR, MRI, and Mammography is expected. The Technologist will assist with invasive procedures, consult with referring physicians, and follow standard precaution procedures. Alteration of routine protocols to provide quality care to pediatric, adolescent, and geriatric patients is essential. Daily and weekly quality control tasks will also be part of the duties. Attendance at department meetings and in-services is required. This position involves a commitment to ethical practices and adherence to compliance programs.
