Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CT Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 06/01/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 39 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel CT Technologist (Cat Scan Tech) – Travel/Contract 📍 Location: Morristown, New Jersey 🏥 Facility: Atlantic Health System – Morristown Medical Center 📅 Contract Dates: June 1 – August 29, 2026 📌 Openings: 1 Position Position Overview Atlantic Health System is seeking an experienced CT Technologist to join the Radiology Department at Morristown Medical Center. This is a high-acuity role requiring strong technical expertise, patient care skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospital environment. Schedule 🕒 39 hours/week (3x13s) Sunday: 11:00 AM – 12:00 AM Tuesday: 10:00 AM – 11:00 PM Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 10:00 PM 📞 On-call required Key Responsibilities • Perform CT imaging procedures following established protocols Prepare and maintain sterile environments and imaging equipment Monitor patients before, during, and after contrast administration Identify and respond to emergency situations Ensure accurate patient identification and documentation Maintain imaging quality and adhere to QA/QC standards Communicate effectively with radiologists and care teams Manage workflow, including emergency and unscheduled procedures Maintain inventory, supplies, and equipment readiness Requirements ✔ ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications ✔ NJ State X-Ray License (NJDEP) ✔ BLS Certification ✔ Graduate of an accredited Radiography program ✔ Strong clinical and patient care experience Skills & Qualifications • Ability to work independently and in high-pressure situations Strong communication and teamwork skills Experience with contrast administration and venipuncture protocols Knowledge of PACS/RIS systems and CT imaging workflows Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety About LanceSoft Established in 2000, LanceSoft is a Certified MBE and Woman-Owned organization.
