Echo Tech Location Alexandria, LA Agency Jackson HealthPros Pay $1,962 to $2,162 per week Shift Information Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration 12 Weeks Start Date 5/11/2026 About the Position AlliedTravelCareers is working with Jackson HealthPros to find a qualified Echo Tech in Alexandria, Louisiana, 71301! Join our team as an Echo Ultrasound Tech / Cardiac Sonographer / Echo Technologist and use your expertise to operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, compassionately prepare patients for echocardiogram procedures, and produce detailed images of the heart for interpretation by healthcare teams. Minimum Requirements: National certification from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI). Acceptable credentials include RDMS, RCS, or DCS. BLS certification required. Experience: Two years of experience in the cardiology field preferred. Experience performing stress echocardiograms preferred. Education: High school diploma required. Graduation from an accredited school of Ultrasound Technology preferred. Clinical skills: Ability to perform routine transthoracic echocardiograms, assist with transesophageal echocardiograms, and perform stress echocardiograms. Able to produce quality diagnostic studies and communicate findings to interpreting physicians. Work environment: Experience working primarily with adult patients; occasional pediatric telemetry cases may occur. Preferred: Competence in performing age-specific assessments and adapting techniques to developmental needs. Assignment Details Facility Type: Hospital. Shift Name: Days. Shift Details: Monday–Friday, 08:00–16:30. Work Schedule: Full time, 5 days per week, 8-hour day shifts. Weekend Requirement: Rotating weekend every fifth week. On Call Requirement: On call one week every fifth week. Patient Volume: Approximately 6–8 echocardiograms per day. Location Highlights.
