Jackson Therapy Partners is seeking a travel Home Health Occupational Therapist for a travel job in Albemarle, North Carolina. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve daily living skills while working in a home health setting in Albemarle, NC. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program. Active North Carolina Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment. BLS certification required. Driver's license and proof of vehicle insurance required. Minimum of 1 year of experience. Client will consider first-time travelers if they have prior home health experience. Experience with home health documentation systems. HCHB (Homecare Homebase) experience preferred. Clinical skills required: wound care (including wound VAC), IV and pleurX familiarity, patient assessment, disease teaching, and OASIS documentation. Assignment Details Facility Type: Home Health. Shift Name: Days. Shift Hours: 07:00–19:00. Standard hours per week: 40. Typical patient load: approximately 6 visits per day. Orientation: 5 days facility/unit orientation. Required scrub color: Navy blue. Free parking available. Technology/equipment used: Samsung Note 9 phones and HCHB electronic charting. Traveler radius rule: permanent address must be 50 miles outside of the home unit. The city is 30 miles southeast of Charlotte and about 45 miles from the Uwharrie National Forest, providing hiking and off-road trails within a one-hour drive.
