LanceSoft is seeking a travel nurse RN MICU - Medical Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: MICU - Medical Intensive Care Unit Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel DCH - RN - MICU Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals. Will accept 36 or 48 hours per week. Holidays as required by facility Every other weekend required Our Medical Intensive Care Unit is a 16-bed high acuity unit that provides complex monitoring and treatment of adult patients. Nurses must exhibit high levels of professional competency. The nurses work to collaborate with all disciplines of the care team to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Education - Required · Associated degree in nursing Certifications – Required · AHA ACLS · AHA BLS · AHA NIH Or Red Cross Certifications - Preferred · PALS – If working in pediatric unit Licenses – Required · Registered Nurse State of Alabama or compact license (No Temp Licenses' accepted) · Nursys Experience - Required: · 2 years’ experience; however, will consider 18 months of experience, working under the highest level of professional license, and must have 1 year of RECENT experience in the field of specialty.
