A travel opportunity is available for experienced clinical pharmacists specializing in hospital inpatient care. This role supports a well-established healthcare facility with approximately 300 beds, serving the Auburn/Opelika area. Ideal candidates have at least 6 months to 1 year of inpatient hospital pharmacy experience and hold an active Alabama pharmacist license. Location: Auburn, AL Position Type: Travel (13+ weeks with a possibility of time-to-time extension) Schedule Monday to Friday Day shifts varying from 7:00 AM - 8:00 AM start time to 4:30 PM end time Key Responsibilities: Provide clinical pharmacy services in an inpatient hospital setting Perform medication order verification, ensuring accuracy and patient safety Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize pharmacotherapy Experience with sterile compounding is a plus, although primary duties focus on order checking Utilize Cerner electronic health records system for documentation and medication management Qualifications and Desired Experience: Active pharmacist license in Alabama Minimum 6 months to 1 year of hospital inpatient pharmacy experience Proficiency with Cerner or similar pharmacy IT systems preferred Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently within a clinical team environment This temporary travel pharmacist role offers a dynamic work experience in a medium-sized hospital and the chance to impact patient care through clinical expertise.
