Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Interventional Radiology Discipline: RN Start Date: 05/25/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Department Details Department: IR | RN 1 IR Suite + Cath Lab support for vascular procedures Average Volume: 5–8 IR procedures/day ~50 CT prep/IV starts daily 7 RN staff members Trauma Level II Acute Care Setting Charting System: Allscripts Common Procedures & Cases Embolizations Thrombectomies (INARI/EKOS Systems) Biopsies (Breast, Thyroid, CT-guided) Drain placements Paracentesis Pain management injections PICCs, Ports, Permcaths, Tunneled Catheters Pacemaker patient monitoring Responsibilities Pre/Intra/Post procedure patient care IV starts and CT preps Radiology flow sheet documentation Communication with physicians and mid-level providers Sedation monitoring and patient assessments Requirements Active RN License BLS Certification ACLS Certification PALS Certification REQUIRED (Pediatric experience not required) Minimum 1 Year IR Experience Strong IV Start Skills Required Critical Care experience preferred First-time travelers accepted Scheduling & Unit Notes Travelers asked to remain flexible with scheduling No guaranteed block scheduling No Call Requirement 2 permanent night RNs on staff Floating only for IR-specific Cath Lab cases Scrub Color: Royal Blue Additional Information Interview Required: No BSN Required: No Cancellation Policy: 1 shift per 4-week assignment 2 shifts per 8-week assignment 3 shifts per 13-week assignment 41 (1098861) About LanceSoft Established in 2000, LanceSoft is a Certified MBE and Woman-Owned organization.
