Job Description
Are you ready to take your expertise as a cardiovascular technologist to new heights. Join a hospital in Lafayette, IN as a Cath Lab Technologist (Cardiac Cath Lab) and play a vital role on a team that values your expertise. Support physicians and Cath Lab staff during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures and operate advanced imaging equipment to capture essential images and hemodynamic data. What You'll Need: ARRT certified Radiologic Technologist preferred. Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) preferred. Minimum 2 years' experience in a hospital Cath Lab setting. BLS and ACLS certification (American Heart Association preferred). State specific licensing when required. Required by client: ACLS certification and experience with Philips Allura/Axurion or Phillips Xper imaging systems preferred. Preferred: Electrophysiology (EP) training or experience. Assignment Details Facility type: Hospital. Shift: Days. Primary coverage: Days with Evening, Nights, Weekend, and Holiday on-call coverage required. Weekly guaranteed hours: 40. Weekend responsibilities: On-call coverage. Call requirements: After-hours coverage including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Unit profile: 2 coronary suites and 1 electrophysiology suite. Patient ratios typically 1:3–4. EMR system: EPIC. Equipment: Philips Allura, Axurion, Philips Xper in use. Float: May require floating to other units as needed. The area offers a quiet, walkable neighborhood feel with access to regional highways I-65 and US-52 for easy travel to Indianapolis (roughly 1 hour) and Chicago (approximately 2.5–3 hours).
